NOTE: We are currently accepting submissions for Fall 2009 publication from practicing attorneys, law professors, and law students.

Articles must be submitted via email to The Journal of Intellectual Property at journal@kentlaw.edu. In order to be considered for publication, the following requirements must be met:

• Articles must be on the topic of intellectual property.

• Each article must be accompanied by a resume or CV.

• An abstract describing the substance of the article must also accompany your submission.

• Articles and abstracts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format.

• All articles and abstracts must be in the English language and checked for proper spelling and grammar prior to the submission.

• All citations must contain footnotes in conformance with Bluebook or ALWD form. Please note that Bluebook is highly preferred. Articles containing endnotes or in bibliography format should be converted to footnotes prior to submission.

Once the Journal agrees to publish an article, the author will be required to conform the article's formatting to Journal Guidelines and resubmit for editing. The following sample template provides an easy to use guide for properly formatting an article. When published, articles will appear on the website in PDF format.
